From http://www.myspace.com/michaelshipp:

THE TRES HOMBRES SAGA
IN 1982, MIKE SHIPP, Nick Shipp & Billy Bob Thornton moved from Arkansas to Houston Texas. They formed a band called Tres Hombres and realesd a record, Gunslinger about that time. Discovered by Lonewolf Productions, they were hired to do a tribute tour for one of the country's most famous rock bands ZZ Top. Coming soon, see Mike Shipp's amazing and interesting memories of those exciting couple of years. Also, we are proud to announce that coming soon, the complete NEWLY REMASTERED TRES HOMBRES GUNSLINGER RECORD will be available digitally. Featuring Mike Shipp, Billy Bob Thornton and Nick Shipp in a fantastic treasure of tone and the earliest songwriting ventures of Mike, Billy Bob & Nick. Recorded at world famous Ardent Studios in Memphis Tennessee, we will have this great music available soon, digitally and NEWLY REMASTERED by Steve Tolson, who co-produced Mike's crittically acclaimed The Adventures of Roosterboy CD a few years ago.

I had never heard of this album, but the comparison to mighty ZZ Top makes it very interesting and it is also very true, a real masterpiece and a magnificent post Zosopat. You are a real master finding these obscure albums. Thank you, thank you and thank you.

There's still lots of lost treasures on this obscurities, if you take a look at popsike, rym, ebay or any encyclopedia you'll find hundreds of albuns that we don't know yet, and the great difference here is that Zoso find these treasures, buy and share with us, that's it :-)
