Rare 1974 private press, possibly from New Orleans, LA. Liner notes state that the LP was recorded "live at the Beef And Barrel on Wednesday, May 22, 1974" but states no address. Band members are given equal billing on the front: Bill McNeill, Ron Case, Tom Leadon and Michael Cottage. I'm not sure if "Live" is supposed to be a band name or just the album title, but the label just says "Live". Nice mellowed out barband rock, most of the LP is taken up with medleys of songs from Elton John's "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" and Beatles love songs, bookended by a couple Gordon Lightfoot covers, one Loggins & Messina number, and one guy telling an old Redd Foxx joke. This same bunch (or similar) made another LP that looks nearly identical to this one but the one shows up on popsike, this one seems to be competely unknown
