This local group from North Carolina had some modest success on the Country charts, despite being an indie-label band with a propensity for true twang and a little bit of profanity (see the title of their second album) They are also notable for starting the career of sideman and songwriter Curtis Wright, who went from here into Vern Gosdin's band, and then into a partnership with Nashville songwriter Robert Ellis Orrall, and later still became the lead singer for the post-Marty Raybon lineup of Shenandoah. Often, the guys in funky little bands like this will give up on music careers and a seldom heard from again -- but not this time!
